About the show
The Standing Call is a podcast about how the church gathers to pray. Each episode, we sit down with pastors and ministry leaders to explore the systems and methods behind a praying church — the daily prayer calls, the standing weekly gatherings, the intercessory teams, and the quiet, faithful rhythms that keep a congregation connected to God and to one another.
Every church does it a little differently — some gather by phone, some online, some around the altar — and every story is worth telling. The name says it plainly: the call to gather in prayer is one that stands, open and unchanging, morning after morning. We honor the leaders keeping that call standing, and help other churches learn to gather their own people to pray.
